CANCEL IT!! – MISSED APPOINTMENTS

More than 9.6 million appointments are missed every year, which costs the NHS more than £216 million.

If you fail to attend a number of appointments without informing us, we will write to you asking if there are any specific problems preventing you from letting us know.

If you repeatedly fail to attend for appointments, you may be removed from the practice list and have to find an alternative GP practice.

We understand that occasionally there may be mix-ups or communication errors in providing patients appointments.

However booking appointments and not attending (DNA) without informing the practice means that someone lese who may desperately need an appointment is denied medical care.  Not only is this costly to the NHS but is also detrimental to the health of our other patients.

To cancel appointments please either cancel using SystmOne online, use our online consultation platform SystmConnect or contact us on 01234 351341.

  • GP – 220
  • Minor Illness Nurse – 33
  • Practice Nurse – 145
  • Nurse Associate/Healthcare Assistant – 86
