Work on our Enhanced Services Centre

We are pleased to confirm that work to relocate our services to the Enhanced Services Centre on the Bedford Health Village site on Kimbolton Road is now underway.

Three of our practice’s five sites (De Parys Avenue, Pemberley Avenue and 2 Goldington Road) will relocate into the Enhanced Services Centre, joining the existing Community Health Services operating from the building. As part of this relocation, no changes are planned to our services delivered from branch sites in Bromham and Church Lane. The work is scheduled to be complete in Autumn 2024. 

We will provide updates as the project progresses. For the time being the current arrangements will remain in place for patients and you should continue to contact us and access services in the usual way. Patients are not required to take any action at this stage.

The relocation to the Enhanced Services Centre means that patients will be seen in modern, purpose-designed accommodation which will provide additional capacity and continue to improve access to a range of appointments. We hope to offer more specialist clinics in the new location, such as cardiology, dermatology and family planning.  Patients with conditions such as diabetes, heart failure, respiratory illnesses and coronary heart disease will benefit from plans to hold clinics at the Enhanced Services Centre, with the aim of reducing the need for patients to visit hospital.

In response to feedback from the patient consultation on the relocation of services, the Integrated Care Board is working with partners to improve the parking provision on the Bedford Health Village site.
